Account Manager

PHX Creative is continuing to grow as one of the nation’s most agile shopper-marketing and retail-focused creative agencies. We are seeking to add two Account Managers to be part of a team— coordinating the development of creative deliverables, (signage, point-of-sale, and digital display assets) for a national convenience store brand with over 14,000 locations in the United States, or helping one of the nation’s best known CPG brands execute shopper strategies across a wide range of retailers. The Account Manager will work closely with account service, and the creative team comprised of graphic designers, production artists, and writers to steer client brand communications strategy, day-to-day client interactions with speed and accuracy. A background in marketing, prior agency experience, or knowledge of shopper marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation/development/execution of all in-store programs and the overall strategy
  • Day-to-day client interactions and management including inbounding new project details, reviewing budgets, coordinating timelines, and forecasting future needs
  • Oversee and coordinate design, production and completion of creative projects that enhance a shopper's ability to find products in store, communicate exciting incentives and offers, and elevate the core brand's visibility at store level
  • Provide leadership for team members assisting on the account
  • Manage a high volume of individual assets, (signs, decals, window clings, displays, etc), and coordinate multiple rounds of revisions, provide updates to clients as needed, and facilitate adherence to the client's brand standards
  • Facilitate billing with a keen understanding of process

Skills:

  • Marketing/Advertising experience in shopper marketing/Consumer Package Goods a plus
  • Detail oriented and a fast learner
  • Strives to grow current account business and develop new business

Production Artist

PHX Creative is continuing to grow as one of the nation’s most agile shopper-marketing and retail-focused creative agencies. Part of our success is delivering hundreds of flawlessly prepared press-ready files every month for packaging and point-of-purchase materials for 7-Eleven, Anheuser-Busch, OREO, Sour Patch Kids, Clairol, Icy Hot, and many other brands. PHX is seeking to add an experienced production artist to our staff to support our existing production art department. Our production artists are a critical part of our team and must handle multiple deadlines in a very fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. A willingness and desire to be focused on the production aspect of the creative industry is a must. This role is not an opportunity for a graphic designer to gain agency experience, this is an opportunity for a creative person to build their career in production art doing some of the most recognizable work in the industry.

As a Production Artist at Phoenix Creative, you will:

  • Work with account managers and assigned designers and art directors to prepare layouts and press-ready files for a variety of point-of-purchase, product display, and other marketing elements
  • Make all requested edits/corrections promptly and accurately
  • Perform retouching, color correction, and clipping of backgrounds on images, and optimize them as needed for production specifications
  • Digitally compose/assemble images that showcase our client’s products in store environments
  • Digitally modify flat artwork to appear three-dimensional
  • Check all layouts for completeness and adherence to brand standards.
  • Help regulate the usage of fonts and images
  • Prepare artwork for final delivery to press
  • Manage a large workload, and pay close attention to visual and technical details

You’re a great fit for this position if you have:

  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Prior agency or pre-press experience with a clear focus on production art
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or print production from a four-year college or university is preferred, but not mandated with sufficient prior experience
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite with extensive knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of printing processes
  • Organized with sharp attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to be part of a creative team and focus on the production orientated tasks
