Account Manager

As leaders in shopper marketing, we specialize in crafting and adapting programs for value, drug, convenience, grocery, and mass-merchandising channels. We create and fulfill impactful, channel-based strategies and corresponding tactical elements that drive brand visibility and sales growth, and we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

As an Account Manager at PHX Creative, you’ll act as the vital link between clients and internal teams, balancing strategic planning with project coordination. You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day execution of shopper marketing programs across diverse retail channels, ensuring that deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and on brand. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a tactical mindset to drive the successful delivery of creative projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Oversee the production and execution of creative deliverables, including signs, decals, displays, banner ads, email templates, and other in-store and digital assets, ensuring timely delivery across multiple rounds of revisions.
  • Channel-Based Strategy: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop in-store programs tailored to the specific requirements of value, drug, convenience, grocery, and mass-merchandising channels.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, managing project briefs, timelines, budgets, and status calls, while providing regular updates and addressing tactical needs.
  • Asset Management: Coordinate the production of shopper marketing assets, ensuring brand standards are met and maintaining consistency across all deliverables.
  • Process Management: Ensure efficient workflows by managing project milestones, tracking revisions, and facilitating billing processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including designers, copywriters, and photographers, to align efforts and deliver high-quality work that meets client objectives.

Skills:

  • Industry Expertise: Experience in marketing and advertising, with a strong preference for backgrounds in shopper marketing or the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industries.
  • Detail-Oriented and Adaptable: Exceptional attention to detail and a quick learner, able to grasp complex concepts and adapt seamlessly to changing client needs and project requirements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships, with a proven ability to expand account scopes and identify new growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in account management (shopper marketing/CPG experience preferred).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with value, drug, convenience, grocery, and mass-merch channels.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, client relationship expertise, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Tools: Proficiency in project management platforms (such as Asana, Wrike, Monday) and Microsoft Office.
